These are some ongoing works- two memoirs and a novel. See each brief description below and then click the button to review some sample pages.

BUT FIRST- ABOUT THE IMAGES: Except where otherwise mentioned, the majority of images on the site are unedited screen-grabs under licence to Tim Leighton with thanks to the British Film Institute (BFI). I have taken them from the iconic British Transport Films series (BTF). Why these? Because I became mesmerized by the instant impressionism, even surrealism – that these films and images bring us- not just of life in Britain from the 50s to the 80s, but of life in general (at least in my world).
